1. Do neighborhood councils qualify for this grant?
Neighborhood councils qualify for this grant as long as either they retain their own 501(c)(3) status or utilize a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor, such as Richmond Neighborhood Coordinating Council. 

2. Can organizations using a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor apply for this grant? The grant application only has an option for individuals utilizing a 501(c)3 fiscal sponsor.
Yes, organizations using a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor can apply for this grant. The application was revised on September 3, 2020 to include an option to apply as an "organization utilizing a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor".

3. Can I donate the funds from the mini-grant to a non-profit organization?


No. The mini-grant funds can only be used for volunteer project supplies.

4. Can I use the funds for costs incurred before I am awarded the grant?


No. The mini-grant funds can only be used for costs incurred after the grant agreement is signed, through June 31, 2021.

5. Can I use the funds for outdoor gatherings?
Applications that include some form of outdoor gathering will be evaluated on a case by case basis as they relate to the current Contra Costa County Health Order.
