Lifeguard Training Course provides American Red Cross certification to participants who pass the written and practical portions of the course. Lifeguard Training is provided throughout the year, with our main goal of training new Lifeguards who want to apply to work at our pools. SWIM LESSONS Summer Session Schedule & Class Levels All lessons held at Richmond Swim Center (RSC) REGISTER NOW for adult & child lessons for ages 3+. Registration begins on the first of the month for the following month's sessions (see Pool Notices). Please register for the appropriate level or class. No refunds. Call or email if you need help selecting the correct level for your child.
During the months of February - November, we offer Saturday-only sessions. During the summer, we offer weekday evening and Saturday sessions.

Recreation Swim Notice:
Due to a plaster issue in the shallow end of the Richmond Plunge, there is no Family Recreation Swim at the Richmond Plunge. All Family Recreation Swim sessions are at the Richmond Swim Center until further notice.
Swim Wear Required
For safety and pool maintenance reasons, please be advised that all swimmers are expected to wear appropriate swim attire (swim suits). Rash guards & synthetic swim shirts may be worn, but no cotton t-shirts/tanks, street clothes, etc.
All babies and toddlers 4 & under must wear a swim diaper (no regular diapers).
